A native of Indiana, Marisa Miller didn't plan to become an actress/activist when she graduated from Smith College with a B.A. in English and German. But after five years in children's book publishing, she realized her true calling(s) and left to pursue two emerging passions: acting and animal advocacy. She grew by leaps and bounds studying acting at the Ward Studio and working with the good folks at the Upright Citizens' Brigade. Now she's extremely proud to be filing her taxes as an actor and as a professional animal activist. When she's not busy directing documentaries about veganism, she performs with the Brothel and stars in independent films, including the award-winning A Girl's Best Friend directed by Eileen White and The 14th Morning directed by Sean Mullin. Highlights of Marisa's acting career include appearing on Comedy Central and sharing a stage with Gloria Steinem at the March for Women's Lives. She feels blessed to have found two great friends and super talented actors who love to dress up and talk funny as much as she does.
